Wiz Works delivers office renovation and fit-out across the Klang Valley and Malaysia — from refreshing a tired workspace to a full turnkey office in a bare unit. We handle space planning, design, construction, M&E, partitions and built-ins under one contract, sequenced to minimise disruption to your business.
What does an office fit-out cover?
- Space planning — workstations, meeting rooms, collaboration zones, phone booths and circulation matched to how your team works.
- Design & 3D visualisation — a workplace that reflects your brand and supports the culture you want.
- Partitions, ceilings & flooring — the core build of any office, from glass-fronted rooms to acoustic treatments.
- M&E works — power, lighting, structured data cabling, air-conditioning and fire-protection coordination.
- Custom joinery & reception — feature walls, pantries, lockers and reception counters.
- Project management — phasing, scheduling and supervision so the business keeps running.
What kind of office projects are common?
New office fit-out
Taking a bare or shell-and-core unit to a complete, move-in-ready workplace. This is where coordination with building management matters most — fit-out deposits, approved drawings, contractor passes and house rules all have to be in order before works begin.
Workplace refresh & reconfiguration
Updating an existing office to support hybrid working, add meeting rooms or modernise a dated look — usually phased zone by zone so staff keep working through the changes.
Reinstatement
At lease-end, returning a space to its original condition to meet the landlord's reinstatement clause and protect your deposit.
How do we keep disruption low?
We plan office projects around your operations — sequencing noisy and dusty trades, working after hours or over weekends where needed, and hoarding off live areas. Clear scheduling and progress reporting mean you always know what is happening and when. Electrical works are carried out to the standards overseen by Malaysia's Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga), and larger fit-outs follow CIDB construction requirements.
What good office delivery looks like
- A realistic programme agreed up front, with clear milestones.
- Coordinated M&E so power, data and cooling are right from day one.
- Building-management approvals and compliance handled for you.
- A clean handover with everything tested and working.

How long does an office fit-out take?
A straightforward office refresh can be done in a few weeks; a full fit-out of a bare or shell-and-core unit usually takes longer once design, building-management approvals, M&E and furniture lead times are factored in. The single biggest cause of delay is not construction itself but late approvals and last-minute design changes — which is why we lock the design and submissions early and build the programme around your move-in date.
How do you design an office for hybrid working?
Many offices now need fewer fixed desks and more shared space — meeting rooms, quiet focus booths, collaboration areas and good video-call setups. We plan the ratio of desks to shared space around how your team actually works, so you are not paying rent on workstations that sit empty while people queue for the one meeting room.
What about the building's fit-out rules?
Most office buildings require approved drawings, a fit-out deposit, contractor passes and adherence to working-hour and noise rules. We handle these submissions and coordinate with building management so your project does not get a stop-work order halfway through.
What goes into an office budget?
The largest line items in most office fit-outs are partitioning and rooms, M&E (power, data, lighting and air-conditioning), flooring and ceilings, and joinery such as reception counters and pantries. Furniture is often a separate budget. Because we design and build together, we can value-engineer as we go — keeping the spend where staff and visitors will notice it, and trimming it where they will not. See the pricing guide for indicative ranges.
What about acoustics and comfort?
Open-plan offices live or die on acoustics. Without thought, they become noisy and tiring; with the right ceiling treatments, soft surfaces and a sensible mix of open and enclosed space, they stay productive. Lighting, air-conditioning zoning and good meeting-room design all shape how comfortable — and how usable — the finished office actually is.
