Wiz Works provides full residential renovation and interior design for condos, landed homes and luxury residences in the Klang Valley and across Malaysia. We design your home, carry out the renovation and fit-out, and manage the project end to end — one team, one quotation, one timeline.
What does a home renovation include?
A renovation with Wiz Works can cover as much or as little as you need, from a single room to a whole-home transformation:
- Interior design & space planning — layouts that suit how your family actually lives day to day.
- 3D visualisation — see your home before a single wall moves, so decisions are made on screen, not on site.
- Renovation & extensions — hacking, wet works, masonry, new layouts and extensions.
- Custom carpentry & joinery — wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, TV consoles and feature pieces built to fit.
- M&E, flooring, ceilings & lighting — wiring, lighting plans, plaster ceilings and floor finishes that make a home feel complete.
- Project management — budgeting, scheduling, supervision and quality checks throughout.
Which homes do we work on?
Condominiums & apartments
Condo renovations live and die on storage and layout. We make small footprints work harder, and we handle the part most owners dread: coordinating with building management on renovation deposits, permitted working hours, lift bookings and protection of common corridors. Getting these approvals right early avoids stop-work orders later.
Landed homes
Terraces, semi-detached houses and bungalows often involve reconfiguring layouts, extending kitchens or living areas, and refurbishing older structures with ageing wiring and plumbing. Structural changes are checked for buildability and the right approvals before work starts.
Luxury residences
Higher-specification homes call for bespoke joinery, premium finishes, smart-home integration and a level of finishing discipline that only shows when it is done right. These projects reward careful sequencing and close supervision.
How does the process run?
We begin by understanding your goals, budget and how you use each room. We develop a design with 3D visuals, then issue a clear itemised quotation and realistic schedule. Once approved, we build — with site supervision, quality assurance and regular progress updates — and finish with a proper handover and a defects-liability period to put right anything that needs attention.
Why design-and-build suits homes
- One accountable team — no gap between designer and contractor.
- The design is costed as it's drawn, reducing budget surprises.
- Buildability is checked early, so fewer changes mid-renovation.
- A single point of contact for every decision.
Renovation contractors carrying out construction works in Malaysia operate under the CIDB framework, and condo works also follow your management corporation's house rules. How long does a home renovation take?
Timelines depend on scope. A focused refresh of a few rooms may take several weeks on site; a full condo renovation or a whole landed-home transformation with extensions and wet works typically runs a few months. Older homes can take longer once hidden issues — ageing wiring, plumbing or waterproofing — are uncovered. We set a realistic, milestone-based schedule in the quotation, and we tell you early if anything on site changes it, rather than letting dates quietly slip.
Can you renovate while we still live in the home?
Sometimes, with careful staging — completing the home zone by zone, sealing off work areas and managing dust and noise. For larger or messier works it is usually faster, safer and cheaper to renovate an empty home. We will give you an honest recommendation based on your scope and how you live.
What about materials and finishes?
Material choice is one of the biggest drivers of both look and cost. We help you choose finishes that suit your lifestyle and budget — hard-wearing surfaces where it matters, statement materials where they earn their place — and use value engineering to get the effect you want without paying for things that will not show.
What is the first step?
The first step is a conversation. Tell us the property type, rough size, what you want to change and your budget range, and we will advise whether your ideas are realistic, what they are likely to involve, and how we would approach the design. From there, if it is a fit, we move into design and a detailed quotation. There is no charge or obligation for that first discussion — message us on WhatsApp to begin.
